Has the legendary Articuno really been caught? If you believe the screenshots and stories coming from Ohio, there is no doubt in your mind. Of course, there are a few skeptics, but the storm of players heading to this site has many believers putting gas in the car and heading out of town.
According to several accounts, Articuno was found at a Gym location and has been seen on several teams. Perhaps this is why everyone is holding out and being a bit skeptical. Most players believe the legendary birds are believed to be locked down based on which team the trainer belongs to and with a couple of different teams suggesting they have Articuno in their corner, people are wondering what the truth really is about this situation.
The sources are from all different players. Videos and screenshots are posted online with multiple accounts and at different gyms. Most appear to be real (and there is no reason to believe otherwise), but the theory most believe is the players found a way to manipulate the game. Suggesting they accessed Articuno’s assets without actually owning the legendary character.
There is plenty of competition when it comes to catching Pokemon, but most players are doing it for fun. What most folks haven't realized is the app just updated and the headlines haven't been nice for the game with the changing of tracking. Perhaps unleashing a few rare Pokemon was a way to bring back the fun and have a focus on the fun of the game.
In the end it doesn't matter who has the Articuno (unless that's you and then we got to tell you congrats!) as the game continues and the opportunity to catch more pocket monsters is out there if you are looking!
